Head in the Clouds

I have always been fascinated with clouds. Their endless changing textures and shapes, the stories they conjure in our minds. I am often stunned by the size and estimated weight of clouds, as they just hang out in the sky, minding their own business! The history of clouds in our lexicon is another topic of interest. Well, keep you head in the clouds, settle back on cloud nine, and find the silver lining in these unique cloud sculptures.

Head in the Clouds Collection

In this collection, I have created busts -  traditional portrait sculpture of a person's head and shoulders - using the needle felting  technique. Each one has a cloud instead of a head, and landscape below which is created out of the clothing.
