I am delighted to share the slow art of needle felting with you.

In my relaxed and friendly workshops you will learn how to use a special barbed needle to turn soft unspun wool into 3D objects. Attendees are often surprised at the quality of craftmanship they achieve, even on their first go.

Learn the slow therapeutic art of dry needle felting and create a cute little sculpture to take home with you in this fun and friendly workshop.

Learn how to use a special barbed needle to turn soft unspun wool into 3D objects. Perfect for complete beginners or improvers alike.
​
You will create a super cute mini hedgehog sculpture during the workshop. The sculpture can be turned into a hanging ornament, brooch or magnet.

Join this creative workshop where you will learn to use stencils to make felted shapes and turn them into Christmas cards!
Rosanna will teach you how to use a special felting needle, biscuit cutters, and soft unspun wool to ‘draw’ 2D shapes. We will build on these freehand to add details and individuality.
You will then be given the opportunity to create cards from your felted pictures. All materials will be provided – just bring yourselves (and your reading glasses, if you have them!).

Relax for a morning creating a super cute cat ornament. In this workshop you will learn the slow art of needle felting.
You can choose your design, or model on your favourite cat!

Perfect for all artistic abilities, and those new to felting. I will introduce you to types of wool and needles, and provide everything you need.
Workshop FAQs
/ Do I need any experience?
No, this workshop is suitable for all levels of ability, from complete beginners.
/ Are the workshops suitable for children?
Well behaved children over the age of 12 are welcome, but should be accompanied by an adult. Please be aware that the needles are sharp and can cause pain if anyone stabs themselves (adults and children)!
/ I'm not artistic, can I still join?
Yes, everybody is welcome, and you may just surprise yourself!
/ Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, and your reading glasses, if you use them. I will provide all the equipment and materials you will need.
/ Are refreshments provided?
Yes, there is tea and coffee making facilities, and I will be on hand with biscuits :)
/ Can you lead a workshop for my event?
Yes! I am available to lead workshops for hen-dos, birthday parties, work events and festivals. I can create a bespoke event to tie in with your theme. Please get in touch.
